BOONTON, NJ. – Our Home is expanding its snack portfolio with the acquisition of the Pop Secret popcorn brand from the Campbell Soup Co., Camden, NJ. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Pop Secret generated sales of approximately $120 million in fiscal 2024, according to Campbell Soup.

"Acquiring Pop Secret marks Our Home's expansion into the microwave popcorn category, strengthening our status as a premier independent snacking platform," said Aaron Greenwald, founder and chief executive officer of Our Home. "The brand's significant MULO (multi-outlet) consumption and widespread household recognition, combined with our extensive manufacturing capabilities, create a unique platform for growth and innovation in the market."

The acquisition is the latest for Our Home. The company acquired the California-based cheese processor Sonoma Creamery in May. In April, Our Home acquired two manufacturing plants for $18.5 million from Utz Brands, Inc., and acquired the R.W. Garcia and Good Health brands and three manufacturing plants from Utz Brands, Inc. for approximately $182.5 million in January.

Campbell Soup has owned Pop Secret since 2017. The business was part of the company’s acquisition of Snyder’s-Lance, Inc. for approximately $4.8 billion. Other Synder’s-Lance brands included in the deal were Snyder’s of Hanover, Lance, Cape Cod, Emerald and others.

“This marks another step in our journey to strategically focus our snacks portfolio,” said Chris Foley, executive vice president and president of Campbell’s Snacks. “The sale of Pop Secret will drive greater focus and accelerated growth across our Snacks division and portfolio of leading brands.”
