EL PASO, TEXAS – Mount Franklin Foods, LLC, a manufacturer of contract and private label confectionery, nuts, snacks and foodservice products, has acquired Stuffed Puffs, LLC, Bethlehem, Pa.
Stuffed Puffs, which launched in 2019, was founded by Michael Tierney to offer marshmallow products filled with chocolate and other ingredients.

Stuffed Puffs has experienced growth in recent years. In November 2019, the company opened a 150,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Bethlehem and partnered with General Mills in November 2022 to create Stuffed Puffs Big Bites Cinnamon Toast Crunch marshmallows.
The company also launched its snackable Bit Bites in October 2021 and its Bites product line, a bite-sized variation of its filled marshmallow offerings, in August 2023.
Mount Franklin Foods produces candy, mint and nut products, including gummies, jellies, mints, fruit snacks, nut and snack mixes under such brands as Azar Nut, Sunrise Confections and Hospitality Mints for the retail and foodservice industries.
