MEMPHIS, TENN. — Monogram Food Solutions L.L.C. has acquired Hinsdale Farms, Bristol, Ind., a manufacturer of corn dogs primarily for retail private label businesses. The acquisition includes Hinsdale’s 110,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, and Monogram raised $12.5 million in new equity to finance the acquisition.

“The Hinsdale acquisition is a perfect fit for Monogram,” said Karl Schledwitz, chairman and chief executive officer. “Our goal is to integrate Hinsdale into Monogram’s manufacturing and sales systems as Monogram grows its position among the nation’s leading manufacturers of processed meats. Hinsdale will help us continue to provide consumers with our top-quality meat products that are distributed regionally and nationally.”

Mr. Schledwitz added that Monogram Food Solutions plans to invest $4 million to $5 million in capital improvements at the Hinsdale facility in an effort to increase production.

Monogram Food Solutions was founded in 2004 and owns the Trail’s Best, Wild Bill’s, Bull’s, Hannah’s, O’Brien’s, Pete’s Pride, King Cotton, Circle B and Farmer’s Pride processed meat brands.
