CORNELIUS, NC. — Barvecue is launching crumbled bacon toppings. The plant-based product follows the success of the company’s frozen products, including pulled BVG carnitas and naked shredded chicken, according to the company.
The company’s offering is formulated with pea protein, sweet potato, organic apple cider vinegar, canola oil and a blend of spices.
The product may be purchased online at barvecue.com. A retail rollout will follow, according to the company.
