WACO, TEXAS — Electrolit, the company behind a hydration-focused beverage that may help replenish the body after physical activity, intense heat or a night out, is building a manufacturing facility and its first United States production facility in Waco. The $400 million, 600,000-square-foot facility is slated to open in early 2026, according to the company.
Electrolit partnered with Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. in October 2023 where Keurig entered a long-term sales and distribution partnership with Grupo PiSA, the Guadalajara, Mexico-based parent company of Electrolit.
Under terms of the agreement, Keurig Dr Pepper agreed to sell and distribute Electrolit in the majority of its company-owned direct-store distribution territories and across all channels of trade.
“We’re excited to announce our new US manufacturing facility, marking a major milestone in our growth and commitment to quality,” said the Electrolit team. “We are immensely grateful to all our US consumers for their continued preference and support. Your trust and loyalty have been pivotal to our success. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to providing the best hydration solutions in the market and are confident that the years ahead will bring even greater innovations and improvements. Thank you for being a part of the Electrolit family.”
