ATLANTA — The Coca-Cola Co. has named Henrique Braun as executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective Jan. 1, 2025. In his new role, Braun will oversee the company’s operating units worldwide.
Braun currently is executive vice president and president, international development, where he is responsible for the company’s operating units for Latin America; Japan and South Korea; ASEAN and South Pacific; Greater China and Mongolia; Africa; India and Southwest Asia; and Eurasia and Middle East. His role as COO expands his oversight into North America and Europe.
“Henrique has built an impressive track record of driving our growth strategy along with numerous operational accomplishments, all while keeping the consumer as the center of decisions,” said James Quincey, chairman and chief executive officer for the company. “He has proven to be a trusted, strategic leader with a reputation for developing talent and delivering results.”
Prior to his current role, Braun was president of the Latin America operating unit from 2020-22, president of the Brazil business unit from 2016-22 and president of the company’s Greater China and Korea business unit from 2013-16.
Braun has been with The Coca-Cola Co. since 1996, holding various roles in supply chain, new business development, marketing, innovations, general management and bottling operations.
