KANSAS CITY — Beverage innovations are rolling out onto retail shelves.
Daily Harvest is launching a line of high-protein smoothies. The product line will include three flavors: dark chocolate, vanilla bean and mixed berry. The products are formulated with organic ingredients and contain 20 grams of plant protein per serving, according to the company.
“Our new high-protein smoothies deliver on taste, satiety and nutrient density; no tradeoffs necessary,” said Ricky Silver, chief executive officer of Daily Harvest. “And this launch is just the beginning — we’re excited to continue developing new protein-forward recipes that make it easier than ever for our consumers to feed themselves and their families healthfully.”
Chike Nutrition is debuting a line of ready-to-shake protein iced coffees at Sprouts Farmers Markets. The beverages are formulated with 20 grams of non-GMO whey protein per serving, two shots of espresso, Reb M and organic cane sugar. Three flavors are available: vanilla latte, caramel macchiato and caffe mocha.
“We’re thrilled to deliver a protein coffee that’s both naturally sweetened and genuinely delicious,” said Mac Mascorro, director of marketing at Chike. “Our new line is a game-changer for anyone who wants their coffee and protein to fuel their day without compromising on taste.”
Stella Rosa, a manufacturer of wine and spirits, has debuted a chocolate hazelnut cream liqueur.
“There is an irresistible sense of luxury associated with cream liqueur, and Stella Rosa’s authenticity centered around Italian ingredients created an elevated, velvety experience,” said Steve Riboli, president and CEO of Riboli Family Wines. “Perfect for the holiday season, Valentine’s Day and beyond, our new chocolate hazelnut cream liqueur is truly dessert in a bottle that takes our existing spirits portfolio to new heights.”
