LOS ANGELES — Startup Lexington Bakes is expanding its portfolio to include a chilled oat bar line. The first two flavors to launch include maple brown butter and raspberry crumble.
The company, which began with brownies and cookies, said it plans to launch two more stock-keeping units in the second quarter of 2025, pending the success of the launch, according to a LinkedIn post from Lex Evan, founder of Lexington Bakes.
The chilled oat bars, which are gluten-free and 100% organic, have no refined sugar, 6 grams of added sugar and 9 grams total, with the maple brown butter flavor having 7 grams of added sugar, 4 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein.
“Inspired by British Flapjacks, our sprouted oat bars are unique for several reasons," Evan said. "Sprouted oats become easy to digest and provide more nutrients. They have no refined sugar and contain 50% less sugar than our indulgent treats. With this new platform, we expand the space our brand holds in consumers’ minds to become not only a dessert treat, but also a breakfast treat to start every day with good taste.”Enjoying this content?
