Food Entrepreneur WASHINGTON — Little Sesame, a Washington-based hummus maker, has named Drew Martin as its chief commercial officer. As CCO, Martin will oversee commercialization strategy, all sales channels and in-store marketing.

Before joining the hummus snack maker, Martin most recently was executive vice president, commercial North America at Oatly. He joined Oatly in 2017 as commercial vice president and later was promoted to senior vice president, commercial North America.

He also held several sales positions for Chobani, Inc., most recently as director of sales.

“Drew has built powerful brands in competitive categories from the ground up, pioneering better-for-you products that challenge legacy players,” said Nick Wiseman, co-founder of Little Sesame. “Ronen and I are excited to build the future of the hummus category with Drew by our side.”

The company said it has seen “significant growth” since 2021. It has expanded into 3,000 stores nationwide and recently raised a seed round in September 2024 with investments from Santatera Capital, Watchfire Ventures and Terpsi Capital. The company also said it is planning to open a new facility in 2025.
