Food Entrepreneur UNION, NJ. — Deep Indian Kitchen, a company that produces natural frozen entrees and is owned by Deep Foods Inc., has hired Brian Sorenson to the newly created role of chief sales officer.

“Brian’s impressive track record in sales, experience with mature and emerging brands, and passion for building teams and leading people make him the perfect fit for this role and our brand,” said Kiernan Laughlin, general manager of Deep Indian Kitchen. “His leadership will strengthen our ability to help grow the demand for premium authentic global flavors, and we could not be more excited.”

Sorenson comes to the company from Factory LLC, an investor and accelerator for emerging brands. There, he was head of sales and business development.

Earlier he was with Advantage Solutions as executive vice president of sales and enterprise client services.

Sorenson also has worked with Nestle and PowerBar. PowerBar is a company that produces nutritional sports food.
