NEW YORK — Momofuku Goods has named Padraic “Paddy” Spence as chief executive officer. The company said it has brought Spence on to accelerate its next phase of growth that includes its continued expansion into retail and e-commerce.
Marguerite Mariscal, co-founder of Momofuku, will join the company’s board and remain CEO of the company’s restaurants.
“Momofuku Goods has always been about making it easier for people to cook with bold, restaurant-quality flavors at home,” Mariscal said. “As we move into this next phase of growth, we wanted to find a leader who understands how to scale a high-growth brand while keeping its identity intact. Paddy is that leader.”
Spence joins Momofuku from Zevia, where he most recently was CEO. Spence also founded and led Spins, the market research company for natural products.
