WAUKEGAN, ILL. — Woodland Gourmet, formerly Woodland Foods, has acquired ready-to-eat frozen ingredients manufacturer Sevillo Fine Foods, Salt Lake City.

“Sevillo’s dedication to quality and innovation complements our vision to cultivate authentic, culinary-forward solutions and experiences for the food industry,” said John Buckles, chief executive officer of Woodland Gourmet. “This acquisition allows us to expand our offerings and better serve our diverse customer base.”

Sevillo’s portfolio includes such products as fire grilled vegetables, slow roasted tomatoes, pickled vegetables and spreads and sauces for the foodservice, retail and industrial industries.

Woodland Gourmet also acquired Idan Foods, a maker of breading and batters, coating systems, baking mixes and seasonings, in April 2024.

Woodland Gourmet’s portfolio includes the D’allesandro and Woodland Ingredients brands targeted toward the foodservice and industrial channels.

The D’allesandro brand offers ingredients to chefs and restaurants and Woodland Ingredients works with the industrial and food processing industries.
