KANSAS CITY — Frozen treat innovations are popping up in retail stores.
JonnyPops is launching a variety of mini cream pops. Birthday surprise minis with cream, Neapolitan minis with cream and unicorn minis with cream flavors are available.
“We’re thrilled to launch our magical new Minis at Expo West,” said Erik Brust, chief executive officer of JonnyPops. “Crafted with simple ingredients, these mini pops are the result of our incredible R&D and production teams’ dedication. Our birthday surprise pop is a first-of-its-kind innovation, bringing something truly new to frozen treats. These Minis are just the right size for an anytime treat, afternoon snack, or a small dessert.”
Drumstick, a Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream brand, is unveiling a We Love Peanut Butter pack of frozen novelties. The pack includes peanut butter and chocolate peanut butter sundae cones.
“We know there are so many peanut butter fans out there, but there aren’t too many peanut butter frozen novelties and even fewer cones,” said Elmer Gonzalez, brand manager. “As America’s favorite sundae cone, we wanted to change that in a way only Drumstick could. Each cone delivers a punch of peanut butter flavor that we take over the top by dipping it in a rich coating of chocolatey cookie pieces. If you’re someone who likes to snack on peanut butter, you’ll want to try these.”
Häagen-Dazs is introducing new sorbet flavors: summer blueberry and lemon, passion fruit and sweet pear and sweet lemon coconut.
“Today, we’re making it official — this summer will be the season of sorbet,” said Rachel Jaiven, head of marketing at Häagen-Dazs. “With the launch of our three new Häagen-Dazs sorbet flavors, we’re celebrating bold fruit flavor pairings and growing our portfolio of delicious, non-dairy sorbets that make every moment feel like summer, no matter the time of year.”
