FORT COLLINS, COLO. — Lightstrike is introducing itself to the hard refresher category. The beverage is formulated with coconut water, sea salt and 5% ABV (alcohol-by-volume) content and is available in lemon lime and orange mango flavors.
Each beverage is packaged in a 16.9-oz sports drink bottle with a resealable lid and contains 120 calories per 12-oz.
"Drinkers are looking for flavor-forward, versatile options that fit in with their lifestyle," said Lightstrike senior brand manager Andrew Emerton "When looking at the shelf for an alternative to hard seltzers or a light lager, Lightstrike fills that gap. We decided to up the ante and put it in a portable pack type that can keep pace with the party."
The beverages may be purchased in grocery stores nationwide.
