LOS ANGELES — Good Girl Snacks, which has been bootstrapped since launching in February 2024, has closed on a pre-seed funding round. The round was led by Collab Fund and also had participation from Nicolas Jammet, co-founder and chief concept officer of Sweetgreen.
The company did not disclose the pre-seed raise amount.
Good Girl Snacks, co-founded by Leah Marcus and Yasaman Bakhtiar, produces pickles under the brand name Hot Girl Pickles.
The company currently offers two varieties, including flavors turmeric dill and honey harissa.
The company said the funds will help grow its team, add two flavors to its product lineup, expand into different categories as well as retail expansions.
“We started Good Girl Snacks with a craving for something different in the snacking world," Marcus said. "This raise is a huge moment for us – it’s not just fuel for growth, but validation that our vision is resonating.”
Good Girl Snacks may be found in independent New York retailers including Happier Grocer. The company also secured a spot with Erewhon in January.
“With the support of our investors, we’re scaling in a way that keeps our roots intact while pushing the brand into new and exciting spaces,” Bakhtiar said.
