NILES, ILL. — Imbibe has developed NonSense BP-1, a bitter masker for highly caffeinated functional beverages.
NonSense BP-1 was developed as a single ingredient that may replace multiple masking agents to simplify formulations.
“The high volume of projects in our lab centered on hydration, energy, protein, and coffee reflects the current consumer trend energy and other functional benefits are driving market interest and innovation,” said Jason Dompeling, senior manager, product development at Imbibe.
