ST. LOUIS  — Sensient Food Colors has developed Marine Blue Capri, a clean label Blue 1 alternative to synthetic colors.

Marine Blue Capri joins the company’s spirulina-based Marine Blue platform and offers beverage manufacturers a bright, clear blue color that is low in pH, according to the company.

Sensient said Marine Blue Capri may be combined with yellows or reds to achieve greens or purples.
