LOS ANGELES — All In Food, formerly known as This Bar Saves Lives co-founded by actress Kristen Bell, has debuted its Madagascar vanilla, honey and almond nut and seed blend snack bar at Starbucks nationwide following a $4 million funding round led by Obvious Ventures. Coinciding with the nationwide Starbucks launch, All In Food also is expanding its retail presence, team and ongoing R&D.
Prior to the rebrand This Bar Saves Lives was acquired by Good Worldwide, a social impact company that owns media brand Upworthy, in 2022.
This Bar Saves Lives produced snack bars and other products in adjacent categories.
“Bars have consistently been at the heart of the brand, something we’re continuing to build on with All In,” said James McGinnis, chief executive officer of All In Food.
While McGinnis is leading All In Food, Bell will remain a stakeholder in the company, according to the company
The company said its goal in the rebrand to All In Food was to better reflect its focus in producing “craveable, organic snacks rooted in impact.”
“We’re going all in on ingredients that matter, a business that gives back and a commitment to community-first action,” McGinnis said. “The new name marks a natural evolution of the brand, while honoring the original mission that Kristen Bell and her co-founders set out to achieve.”
All In Food’s bars are formulated with a nut and seed blend along with semi-sweet chocolate, vegetable fiber (inulin), honey, brown rice syrup, agave syrup, whole grain crisp brown rice, brown rice crisp (whole grain brown rice flour), peanut butter, peanut butter powder, high oleic sunflower oil, molasses, Himalayan pink salt, natural flavor and other ingredients.
The nut and seed bar lines comes in other varieties, including Peruvian dark chocolate peanut butter and California almond dark chocolate sea salt.
The company also offers a children’s-focused whole grain bar line that is manufactured in a nut-free manufacturing facility. The line is free-from the top eight allergens and comes in varieties including chocolate chip and s’mores.
“The Madagascar vanilla bar has been my fave since we first developed the recipe in our kitchens back in the day,” Bell said. “I’m so excited that millions of people will now have a chance to enjoy it at their local Starbucks.”Enjoying this content?
