PASADENA, CALIF. — Nature’s Bakery, a subsidiary of Kind LLC, is rolling out an all-new product line: Hearty Bars.

Available in blueberry and chocolate chip, the new soft-baked snack bars are made with whole grains, fruit, Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa in addition to being vegan and nut free. They also boast 9 grams of plant-based protein from fava bean and sunflower sources.

“Families today are seeking snacks that fuel their busy days and fit seamlessly into all moments, whether at school, work, or on-the-go,” said Pilar Arellano, senior vice president of marketing at Nature’s Bakery. “With Hearty Bars, we aimed to create a delicious, soft-baked snack made with plant-powered protein that’s suitable for all ages and stages. Our oven-baked recipe combines ingredients like fava bean and sunflower protein paired with delicious chocolate chips and real blueberries, so we’ve crafted a bar that delivers on texture, taste and thoughtful ingredients that sets us apart in this space.”

Nature’s Bakery Hearty Bars are now available on the company’s website and in Target stores nationwide. They will later be available on Amazon sometime in June.
