LILLE, FRANCE — Roquette is expanding its Nutralys portfolio with two textured protein solutions for plant-based formulations. The additions expand the company’s portfolio to now include pea, wheat, rice and fava bean plant proteins.

Nutralys T Wheat 600L marks the company’s foray into the textured wheat protein market and was developed in response to consumers wanting more fibrous, chicken-style alternatives.

The textured wheat protein offers over 60% protein for formulations along with extended, meat-like fibers. It also may help mimic the chewiness and tenderness of chicken, according to the company.

Roquette’s Nutralys T Pea 700XC is a large-chunk textured pea protein featuring 70% protein content. The pea protein was formulated for heartier applications, including plant-based ready meals and sauces.
