PHOENIX — Marubeni Corp. through its US subsidiary Marubeni America Corp., New York, has acquired Bubbies Ice Cream, a maker of mochi ice cream. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Bubbies will continue to operate its manufacturing facilities and operations in Phoenix.

Bubbies Ice Cream was founded in 1985 as a scoop shop on the island of Oahu and has since grown into a brand recognized for its innovative novelty products.
