WASHINGTON — The total amount of edible liquid product from shell eggs broken during July was 239,758,000 lbs, up slightly from 238,763,000 lbs in June and up 9% from July 2012, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in its Aug. 30 Egg Products report.

July production of edible liquid whole eggs was 141,690,000 lbs, down 3% from June but up 4% from July 2012; liquid whites were 65,123,000 lbs, up 7% from June and up 16% from July 2012; liquid yolks were 32,945,000 lbs, up 6% from June and up 16% from July 2012.

Shell eggs broken in July were 187,979,000 dozen, up 2% from June and up 9% from July 2012.
