Land O’Lakes, Arden Hills, Minn., recently announced the addition of Sea-Salted Caramel to its line of dairy seasonings. A butter powder base mixed with caramel and sea salt gives the dairy seasoning a distinct and wholesome flavor. The seasoning is well-suited for a variety of ingredient applications, including, snacks, sauces and dips.

“We’ve seen tremendous growth in the popularity of sweet and salty flavors,” said Jim Jarman, marketing and sales leader for the ingredients team at Land O’Lakes. “The sea salt and caramel flavor combination is at the forefront of this trend, and we saw the opportunity to enhance the combination using our expertise in dairy flavors and rich butter heritage.”
