Minute Maid rolls out a liquid water enhancer with real fruit juice

ATLANTA — Minute Maid, a Coca-Cola Co. brand, is introducing Minute Maid Drops. Drops come in four flavors that are made with real fruit juice, including lemonade, fruit punch, mango tropical and raspberry lemonade. All Minute Maid Drops flavors are available in grocery stores nationwide in 1.9-oz squeezable bottles with flip-top lids. The suggested retail price for the water enhancers is $3.50 to $3.99.

Burger King upgrades the Big King sandwich

MIAMI — Burger King Worldwide, Inc. is upgrading the original Big King sandwich. The new Big King features two 100% beef patties, lettuce, onions, and the chain’s signature King Sauce on a three-layer toasted sesame seed bun. The Big King is available at participating Burger King restaurants nationwide for $3.69.

Denali Flavors develops ice cream bar line

WAYLAND, MICH. — Denali Flavors is entering the ice cream novelty category with the introduction of bars and sandwiches based on two popular flavors: Moose Tracks and Caramel Caribou. The ice cream varieties include Moose Tracks ice cream sandwiches and bars, triple chocolate Moose Tracks ice cream bars, and Caramel Caribou ice cream bars.

The Moose Tracks ice cream sandwiches and bars are filled with vanilla ice cream, Moose Tracks fudge, and chocolate peanut butter flakes within either chocolate wafers of a fudge coating. Triple chocolate Moose Tracks ice cream bars feature chocolate ice cream mixed with Moose Tracks fudge.

To wrap up the new offerings, the Caramel Caribou ice cream bars include toffee-flavored ice cream, Denali caramel and chocolate flakes, and a milk chocolate coating.

Ball Park brand launches flame-grilled turkey patties

CHICAGO — Ball  Park, a business unit of Hillshire Brands Co., is spicing things up with new flame-grilled turkey patties available in original turkey or cheddar and jalapeño. All of the patties are fully-cooked and ready to heat in the microwave. Each patty features 17 grams of protein.

Taco Bell rolls out breakfast items

IRVINE, CALIF. — Taco Bell, a Yum! Brands, Inc. company, is adding a day part with the introduction of the waffle taco, A.M. Crunchwrap, and Cinnabon Delights. The waffle taco features either a sausage patty or bacon with scrambled eggs and cheese wrapped in a waffle accompanied by a side of syrup.

The A.M. Crunchwrap, includes a warm tortilla with the selection of traditional breakfast items such as scrambled eggs, hash browns, melted cheese, bacon, sausage, and steak.

“Breakfast is the fastest growing day part in Q.S.R., and after years of the same old thing, we’re confident our breakfast will wake up customers’ morning routine,” said Chris Brandt, chief marketing officer for Taco Bell. “Taco Bell will bring them a classic breakfast experience, leading with the Waffle Taco and A.M.
