TORONTO — Jeff DeLapp has been named president of North America for McCain Foods Ltd. He will replace Frank van Schaayk, who is retiring.
Prior to joining McCain Foods, Mr. DeLapp was president of Lamb Weston from 2002 to 2010. Prior to joining Lamb Weston, he was president and chief operating officer of The Bruss Co.
“Jeff's passion, expertise in and dedication to the potato industry will be of great value to McCain,” said Dirk Van de Put, president and chief executive officer of McCain Foods. "He will be a tremendous asset to both our business and our senior leadership team.”
Mr. DeLapp holds a bachelor of science in marketing from the University of Oregon and a master of business administration from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He will be based at the company’s offices in Lisle, Ill.
