LONDON — Coca-Cola Life, sweetened with a blend of sugar and stevia leaf extracts, will be available in Great Britain in September, London-based Coca-Cola Great Britain said June 11. Coca-Cola Life contains a third less sugar and a third fewer calories than regular cola. A 330-ml can has 89 calories.

Coca-Cola Life was introduced in Argentina and Chile in 2013. Great Britain will be the first European market to have the drink when Coca-Cola Life becomes available in a 330-ml can, a 500-ml PET bottle, a 1.75-liter PET bottle and six-pack and eight-pack multipacks with 330-ml cans.

“We are pleased to add Coca-Cola Life to the Coca-Cola portfolio in the U.K.,” said James Quincey, president of Coca-Cola Europe. “It complements our existing brands and is well-positioned to meet changing lifestyle trends, providing people with a great-tasting, lower calorie cola sweetened from natural sources.”
