AUSTIN, MINN. — Hormel Foods Corp. made several executive leadership appointments as a result of the election of James P. Snee as president and chief operating officer of the company.

Larry Vorpahl
Larry L. Vorpahl

Larry L. Vorpahl was named group vice-president and president of Hormel Foods International. Mr. Vorpahl joined Hormel in 1986 and has held several posts in product management and marketing. He was named vice-president of marketing in 1999. In 2003, he became vice-president and general manager of Grocery Products, where he oversaw the company’s Grocery Products division. He was promoted to his current role of group vice-president and president of consumer products sales in Oct. 2005.

Deanna Brady, Hormel
Deanna T. Brady

Deanna T. Brady succeeds Mr. Vorpahl as group vice-president and president of consumer products sales. She started her career with Hormel in 1996 in the food service division and has held various food service sales management positions throughout the United States. In 2003, Ms. Brady was promoted to food service regional manager in Los Angeles. She was promoted to vice-president of food service sales in 2007, and became group vice-president of food service in Oct. 2013.

Jeffrey Baker, Hormel
Jeffrey R. Baker

Jeffrey R. Baker, vice-president of marketing for food service, will advance to group vice-president of food service. Mr. Baker has worked for Hormel since 1990. He held product manager positions for smoked meats and sausage before rising to the meat products district manager in Buffalo, N.Y., in 2001. The next year, he was promoted to senior product manager of meat products and became the group product manager for meat products three years later. In 2009, Mr. Baker was promoted to director of fresh meats marketing at Precept Foods before assuming his most recent role as vice-president of marketing for food service in 2012.

David Weber, Hormel
David F. Weber
David F. Weber has advanced to vice-president of marketing for food service. Prior to his promotion, he held several food service sales and product manager positions for Hormel throughout the United States. In 2006, Mr. Weber was promoted to food service regional manager in Charlotte, N.C. He assumed his current position as president of Burke Corp., a subsidiary of Hormel Foods, in 2012.
