STAMFORD, CONN. — Tim Brown, president and chief executive officer of Nestle Canada, has been named president and c.e.o. of Nestle Waters North America Inc., effective Feb. 1, 2103. Mr. Brown will succeed Kim Jeffery, who plans to step down from that role after 20 years to assume a non-executive chairman position.
Mr. Brown has been president and c.e.o. of Nestle Canada since 2010, overseeing such brands as Stouffer’s, Lean Cuisine, Buitoni, Nescafe, Kit Kat and Smarties. Earlier, he spent 22 years at Nestle Waters North America, most recently heading retail operations as executive vice-president and general manager until transitioning to his current role.
“I am excited to continue to build on the legacy achieved by Kim Jeffery,” Mr. Brown said. “Kim led the company from a single brand to the largest bottled water company in North America, while emphasizing environmental responsibility and cultivating the very best corporate culture in the food and beverage business.”
In Canada, Mr. Brown will be succeeded by Shelley Martin, who is currently president of Nestle Canada’s frozen division.
