MIAMI — Burger King Worldwide, Inc., is expanding its BK Delivers test program to Houston. The new effort allows consumers to order products via telephone or the Internet and place orders for home delivery.

“We are thrilled to expand the BK Delivers test to Texas’ largest city,” said Alex Macedo, senior vice-president and general manager of U.S. franchise business for Burger King Worldwide. “Our goal has always been to provide excellent service and great tasting food to our guests. After seeing the success this program has experienced with residents in Miami and in the Washington, D.C. area, we are excited to bring this convenience to Houston.”

For a minimum order of $10, consumers may choose from several of Burger King’s menu options, including the Whopper. Menu items not included in the program include fountain beverages, ICEE beverages, shakes, soft serve, desserts, coffee, and breakfast items.
