Ready Pac Foods is launching a new line of single-serve, ready-to-eat salad blends called elevAte.

IRWINDALE, CALIF. — Inspired by consumer demand for fresh, healthy foods, Ready Pac Foods is launching a new line of single-serve, ready-to-eat salad blends. Dubbed elevAte, the new brand includes eight varieties that are gluten-free, organic and feature antibiotic-free chicken.

Varieties include Blu-Rugula, which is topped with chia seeds, aronia berries and cacao nibs; Go-Go-Gogi, featuring azuki beans, goji berries and a green tea matcha dressing; Kale Caesar, with beluga lentils, quinoa, hempseed and pepitas; Organic Power Grains, with quinoa, wheat berries and raisins; Organic Sunny Caesar, with grilled chicken and roasted sunflower seeds; Organic Nutty Cranberry, featuring chopped walnuts and almonds, dried cranberries and feta cheese; Organic Spinach Pow, which contains grilled chicken, dried cranberries, sliced almonds and Monterey jack cheese; and Organic Southwest, topped with fire-roasted corn, black beans, Monterey jack cheese and tortilla strips.

Representing a first for Ready Pac, elevAte’s full-sleeve packaging invites consumers to peek inside. The ingredients are labeled on the sleeve and visible in the package.

The products will begin shipping nationwide in early November and will be available at Wal-Mart, H-E-B, Albertsons, Safeway and other select retailers.

With sales in excess of $600 million, Ready Pac Foods manufactures its Bistro Bowl and Simply Snacks brands as well as its bagged salads, fresh-cut fruit and fresh cut vegetables from four plants, one in California, one in Georgia and two in New Jersey.
