Pinkberry specializes in serving premium frozen yogurt with distinctive flavors and gourmet toppings.

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — Kahala Brands, a quick-service restaurant franchising company, has added Pinkberry to its portfolio of brands, which includes Cold Stone Creamery, Blimpie, TacoTime and Planet Smoothie. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Santa Monica, Calif.-based Pinkberry opened its first store in 2005 and has grown to more than 260 locations in 20 countries. The chain specializes in serving premium frozen yogurt with distinctive flavors and gourmet toppings. Kahala Brands will consolidate Pinkberry’s corporate operations and operate the franchising platform from its Scottsdale headquarters.
