NEW YORK — International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc. has opened a new flavors facility in Schaumburg, Ill., to serve the food and beverage industry in the greater Chicago area. The facility houses a culinary center and application and flavor creation laboratories. Culinary, flavorist and product application teams in Schaumburg will be linked to I.F.F.’s regional and global research and development sites.

“This site is centrally located to many key customers in the Midwest region of the United States and allows us to partner more closely with them to collaboratively build heathier taste solutions that help differentiate their brands,” said Matthias Haeni, group president, flavors for New York-based I.F.F.
