WATERBURY, VT. — Another day, another coffee partnership.

For the third time in less than a week, multiple companies have agreed to work together to expand their coffee businesses.

This time, Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. has inked a deal with DS Services of America, Inc., a subsidiary of Cott Corp., under which Keurig will offer DS Services’ Javarama coffee in K-Cup packs for use in Keurig hot brewing systems.

“We’re excited to expand our Keurig authorized distributor relationship with DS Services by offering their popular Javarama brand to customers in K-Cup packs,” said John Whoriskey, president of U.S. sales and marketing for Keurig. “With over 400 varieties from 60 brands already available in the Keurig hot brewing system, Javarama coffee will be a welcome addition to the Keurig family.”

The companies plan to launch the new Javarama K-Cup packs this month, featuring Javarama Signature Medium Roast and Dark Roast profiles. Since 1995, DS Services has provided high-end proprietary gourmet coffees through its Javarama brand.

“Our customers love the Javarama brand for its coffeehouse quality taste, and now they will be able to enjoy it with the convenience of their Keurig brewers in homes and offices,” said Brian Miller, chief commercial officer, DS Services.

Earlier this week, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. signed a multi-year licensing agreement with Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA under which Massimo will roast and distribute Krispy Kreme Coffee for grocery, mass merchants and club stores. Meanwhile, last week, Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc., The J.M. Smucker Co. and Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. announced they have expanded their partnership by signing agreements for the manufacturing, marketing, distribution and sale of Dunkin’ K-Cup packs at retailers nationwide in the United States and Canada and on-line.
