Nneka Rimmer has been named senior vice-president of corporate strategy and development.

SPARKS, MD. — Nneka Rimmer has been named senior vice-president of corporate strategy and development at McCormick & Co.

Prior to joining the company, Ms. Rimmer was a partner and managing director with the Boston Consulting Group. She has more than 10 years of experience in designing, executing and leveraging large-scale transformation initiatives with large global consumer goods companies. Her expertise includes competitive strategy, international growth strategy, trade strategy, go-to-market strategy and organizational development.

Her responsibilities at McCormick include providing strategic direction for mergers and acquisitions and overseeing research activities, including consumer insights, demographic studies and competitive market intelligence. The position was created to help the company deliver long-term growth while maintaining a competitive foothold in the expanding marketplace.

Previously, Ms. Rimmer held roles as a product development consultant for the George Group and a strategy consultant at EthnicGrocer.com. She has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Stanford University, a master of business administration degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law.

With $4.2 billion in annual sales, McCormick manufactures, markets and distributes spices, seasoning mixes, condiments and flavors for retail and food service.
