Cecile K. Perich has been with the company for 32 years.

SPARKS, MD. — Cecile K. Perich, senior vice-president and chief human relations officer at McCormick & Co., has announced plans to retire June 1.

In her 32 years with the company, Ms. Perich has held a number of human relations roles across McCormick’s major business units, including U.S. Consumer Products Division, U.S. Industrial Group and the former McCormick Properties Division. In her current position, she is responsible for the company’s global human relations function, serving 10,000 employees around the world.

Under her leadership, McCormick created regional boards and a new platform for executive development. Ms. Perich also was integral to the establishment of a global diversity and inclusion initiative, employee ambassador groups and many employee health and wellness programs at the company.

“Cile has had an enormous impact on the employees of McCormick during her career,” said Alan Wilson, chairman and chief executive officer.  “Her contributions to the company and to me personally over the years are immeasurable.  She has lived the McCormick core values and her commitment and dynamic personality will be missed.”

The company has not announced a replacement.
