KANSAS CITY — Summer is already sizzling, and so are the grills. Meat manufacturers are offering new products and flavors to spice up consumers’ summer cookouts.

Beretta Farms is launching a line of organic beef, turkey and chicken hot dogs that are certified organic, gluten-free and nitrate-free. They are made from Canadian-reared animals raised without antibiotics or hormones.

“Hot dogs are a staple of summer grilling, and we wanted to make a product with quality ingredients that also tasted amazing,” said Cynthia Beretta, co-founder of Beretta Farms. “Our hot dogs are a summertime favorite that you can feel good about feeding your family — no guilt involved.”

Johnsonville Sausage, L.L.C. also is releasing something new for the grill: a Butcher Shop line of smoked-cooked sausages. The fully-cooked pork links are available in cheddar beer, jalapeño cheddar, Polish sausage, smoked bratwurst, cheddar cheese, and Andouille varieties.

Offering five new bold flavors to the grill masters, Jack Link’s is introducing its new Wild Side Sausage line.  These fully-cooked links are available in five flavors: original Hardwood smoked sausage, Hardwood smoked with cheddar sausage, jalapeño sausage, bratwurst with bacon jerky, and bratwurst with peppered jerky.
