BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. — Scott LaPorta has been named president and general manager of Bolthouse Farms, a provider of beverages, dressings and carrots. Bolthouse is part of Campbell Soup Co.
In his new role, Mr. LaPorta will oversee the primary leadership of Bolthouse Farms’ sales, research and development, production, and distribution of fresh carrots, dressings, and super- and ultra-premium beverages. Additionally, he will oversee operations, agriculture, quality control and customer service.
Mr. LaPorta most recently was chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Bolthouse Farms. Before joining Bolthouse he was a private investor and consultant. He also has worked for Levi Strauss, Park Place Entertainment, Hilton Hotels Corp., Marriott Corp. and Price Waterhouse.
He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in finance from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
