KANSAS CITY — Restaurant menus are bursting with dessert debuts and sweet snacks.
Domino’s Pizza is dishing up a dynamic duo dessert: the Marbled Cookie Brownie. Combining milk chocolate chunk cookies and fudge brownies, this dessert is cut into 9 shareable pieces.
“Marbled Cookie Brownie is the best of both worlds,” said Joe Jordan, chief marketing officer of Domino’s. “With warm milk chocolate chunks and fudge brownie in every bite, Marbled Cookie Brownie is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth, and it makes for one delicious ending to any meal.”
Auntie Anne’s new sweet snack pairs pretzels and pumpkin: Pumpkin Spice Nuggets. Consisting of baked pretzel nuggets topped with a blend of spices, the nuggets may be paired with cream cheese or a sweet glaze dip.
Cold Stone Creamery is sweetening its menu with a new salted caramel ice cream flavor. Customers may enjoy the new flavor mixed into a Salted Caramel Frappe or the chain’s new creation, The Twisted Salted Caramel. This mix features salted caramel ice cream, pretzels and chocolate chips.
Baskin-Robbins also is releasing a sweet new ice cream flavor: Banana Split. This treat features banana-flavored ice cream mixed with chocolate cherry pieces and almonds, pineapple pieces, and ribbons of strawberry and hot fudge.
Newk’s Eatery is offering two treats for sweet-toothed customers. Newk’s German Chocolate Cake consists of 12 layers of chocolate cake and pecan-coconut frosting. The chain’s new whoopee pies offer vanilla filling sandwiched in between two pieces of chocolate or red velvet cake.
