WHITE MARSH, MD. — TIC Gums is showcasing its latest clean label texture and stability solutions for use in ready-to-drink beverages and gummy vitamins at booth No. Y165 during the 2016 SupplySide West Global Expo and Conference in Las Vegas, Oct. 6-7.
In the R.-T.-D. category, TIC Gums is highlighting Ticaloid PRO 181 AG, a clean label stabilizer system designed for ultra-high temperature processed, R.-T.-D. protein beverages. The system allows the ability to emulsify higher nutritional and flavor oil levels, add protein and support particulate suspension while maintaining the desired texture and stability in R.-T.-D. products, the company said. Ticaloid PRO 181 AG also increases foam stability, TIC Gums said, which allows its use in non-dairy barista milks. The company will offer samples of toasted coconut almond milk at its SupplySide booth to showcase the benefits of Ticaloid PRO 181 AG.
For gummy vitamins free of gelatin, TIC Gums offers Ticagel Natural GC-581 B as a non-G.M.O. alternative in gelatin-free applications. The product allows adjustment in cohesiveness and hardness, TIC Gums said, so manufacturers may customize their products. The company will have samples of gelatin-free gummy vitamins with Ticagel Natural GC-581 B available at its booth.
TIC Gums also will launch its new GuarNT USA product line, featuring USA-produced guar gum developed to enhance traceability from sourcing to processing. GuarNT USA products allow manufacturers access to a secure and reliable guar supply, the company said, one that has been subjected to a kill-step validation at a U.S.-based SQF Level 3 facility.
