JeanMarie Brownson has been appointed culinary director for Conagra Brands.

CHICAGO — JeanMarie Brownson has been appointed culinary director for Conagra Brands. Joining Conagra as part of the recent Frontera Foods, Inc. acquisition, Ms. Brownson will lead culinary development for not only Frontera branded products but for all the company’s growth business programs.

Ms. Brownson is a part owner and culinary director for Frontera Foods, where she has been in charge of all new product development, quality control and consumer educational materials for Frontera branded products since the company’s inception in 1996. Ms. Brownson is also an author. She has written several cookbooks and previously wrote a bimonthly food column for the Chicago Tribune. She also was test kitchen director and assistant food editor for the Chicago Tribune.
