BETHLEHEM, PA. — Rachel Hayden has been named vice-president and chief information officer at Just Born Quality Confections, the Bethlehem-based maker of Peeps, Mike and Ike, Hot Tamales and Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews. Previously, she was senior director of IT responsible for global business systems at Berry Plastics, where she led business analysis, project management and application development teams.
Ms. Hayden brings more than 20 years of IT and senior management experience to Just Born, where she will be responsible for defining, planning and implementing all information technology and communications activities to help support the company’s strategic initiatives.

Ms. Hayden has a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of South Carolina and a master of business administration degree from the University of North Carolina.
