IRVINE, CALIF. — Golden State Foods has acquired full ownership of KanPak U.S. and KanPak China. The diversified food manufacturer initially had taken majority stakes in KanPak China in 2012 and KanPak U.S. in 2013. KanPak manufactures aseptic dairy products, including soft-serve ice cream, smoothies, coffee creamers and other extended shelf-life products.
Dennis Cohlmia, KanPak founder and chairman of the board, opted to sell his remaining interests in the company to pursue other business opportunities, according to Golden State Foods.
