Savory yogurts

Yogurt brands are churning out savory varieties to sate a growing demand for low- to no-sugar options. Sohha Savory Yogurt, New York, makes Lebanese-style yogurt using three ingredients: locally sourced milk, probiotic cultures and sea salt.

The Chaat Co., New York, offers a range of yogurt snacks made with grass-fed, whole milk yogurt and crunchy puffed lentils. In addition to its current offerings, which include cucumber mint, mango chili and tamarind date, the company is introducing three more: coconut spice, ginger lime and pineapple pepper.

And from Fage USA Dairy Industry, Inc., Johnstown, N.Y., savory Greek yogurt varieties include tomato basil with almonds, olive thyme with almonds, carrot ginger with pistachios and coconut curry with cashews.
