DENVER – Chipotle Mexican Grill will offer catering in Colorado with plans to roll out the service nationwide.

Starting Jan. 21, groups of 20 to 200 can order a taco and burrito bowl spread with two or three meats and sides, including cilantro-lime rice, black and pinto beans, salsa, guacamole, cheese and sour cream. A chips and salsa menu is also available.

Smaller groups of six or more may choose a burrito box option, which includes a customized burrito, plus an order of chips, salsa, guacamole and sour cream for every two burritos ordered.

Chipotle isn’t the first quick-service chain to experiment with the concept. Burger King last year began testing a limited-menu delivery program in several markets.

Chipotle plans to add catering to all of its markets in the coming months.
