BATTLE CREEK, MICH. — Amid declines in the ready-to-eat cereal category, The Kellogg Co. is stepping up its cereal game.

The company is introducing more than 50 new products for 2017, including a spate of new cereals and granolas to help resuscitate the struggling segment.

For those seeking a healthful morning meal, Kellogg is launching such offerings as Raisin Branch Crunch Apple Strawberry Cereal and Special K Nourish Granola.

Consumers seeking an indulgent way to start the day may reach for Kellogg’s new Keebler Cookie Cereal, which includes miniature chocolate chip cookies mixed with cookie dough flavored cereal pieces.

Children and adult animation lovers alike may usher in the a.m. with Kellogg’s new Despicable Me, Disney Princess and Disney Moana cereal. Another familiar face – Tony the Tiger – graces Kellogg’s new Cinnamon Frosted Flakes cereal, a product which underwent more than 100 recipes before settling on the final offering.
