Salty Girl Salmon Bites

Something’s fishy

Seafood is making a splash in innovative new products featured at Expo West. Salty Girl Seafood, a Santa Barbara, Calif.-maker of sustainable, traceable seafood products, is launching salmon bites for children, featuring wild-caught Alaskan salmon, broccoli and sweet potato. The products are gluten- and dairy-free with no added sugars, artificial colors or flavors and 9 grams of protein per serving.

“We’re seeing interesting innovation in frozen seafood for the kid market beyond the standard fish sticks, which have conventionally had long ingredient lists and have not really been the most nutritious or healthy products,” Ms. Mast said.
