GLENVIEW, ILL. – Kraft Food Ingredients may look to bring more branded products into its portfolio after adding Heinz ketchup and Lee & Perrins Worcestershire sauce along with a variety of Heinz vinegars, relishes and sauces to its portfolio of ingredients systems in March.

“We constantly review and look for additional ways to expand our offerings and believe one of our greatest opportunities moving forward is to bring more products from the Heinz portfolio to the ingredients industry,” Kraft Food Ingredients said. “This will provide manufacturing and food service customers with even more possibilities for incorporating the iconic flavors consumers know and love into their applications.”

The Heinz ketchup ingredients and the Heinz vinegars, relishes and sauces have been shown to work in savory sauces, dressings and marinades. The Lee & Perrins Worcestershire sauce have been shown to work in Bloody Mary mixes as well as dressings and sauces.

Food and beverage companies might have co-branding opportunities with the ingredients.

“We currently review cross-branding opportunities on an individual basis to ensure the customer’s product works in union with the Kraft Heinz Co. portfolio of products,” Kraft Food Ingredients said. “We welcome discussions with our customers on cross-branding opportunities and review each for strategic fit for an individual case-by-case basis.”

Based in Glenview, Kraft Food Ingredients is part of the Kraft Heinz Co.
