LOUISVILLE, KY. — Brandon Rhoten has been named global chief marketing officer for Papa John’s International, Inc. In his new role, Mr. Rhoten will be tasked with enhancing Papa John’s advertising, digital marketing and social media efforts.
Mr. Rhoten joins Papa John’s from Wendy’s International, where he spent six years and was most recently vice-president of advertising, media, digital marketing and social media.
“Brandon was a key contributor in Wendy’s resurgence within the Q.S.R. hamburger category, advancing their brand positioning, creative, media, digital marketing, and now renowned social media presence,” said Steve Ritchie, president and chief operating officer of Papa John’s. “He is a disruptor in the Q.S.R. industry, and we are excited for him to further enhance Papa John’s brand relevancy and quality positioning across our marketing channels globally.”Prior to Wendy’s, Mr. Rhoten was digital marketing manager at Freedom Group. He also held positions at Gyro, Advantech Automation and the Nederlander Corp.
