Four snacking platforms

With this knowledge in hand, Campbell Soup will focus on four snacking platforms: mindful kids snacking, purposeful fueling, adventurous snacking and better-for-you social snacking.

The platforms are part of Campbell Soup’s company-wide mission to provide “real food that matters for life’s moments.”

“We're on a journey to continuously improve our food, and over time, that means all of our food will be real,” explained Denise Morrison, Campbell Soup’s president and c.e.o., during the investors day presentation. “That means food made with simple, recognizable and desirable ingredients from plants and animals so that people don't need a periodic table to understand the label. That means food crafted with care, using ethical sources and sustainable practices. That means food that's safe, delicious and available at a fair price, all three without compromise.”

Mr. Abrams-Rivera called “real snacks” a strategic growth initiative within the “real food” philosophy.

“When we say, ‘real food,’ it’s a commitment to what we are making,” he said during the Baking & Snack interview. “It includes clean label, but also other things like baking with the quality of ingredients that we expect.”
