Lisa Selk has been named c.e.o. of CytoSport for Hormel Foods.
 

AUSTIN, MINN. — Lisa Selk has been named chief executive officer of CytoSport, Inc., a subsidiary of Hormel Foods Corp. that produces Muscle Milk, Evolve and Cytomax protein products. Ms. Selk succeeds Gregory N. Longstreet, who recently left his position as president and c.e.o. of CytoSport to become c.e.o. of Del Monte Foods, Inc.

Ms. Selk was most recently marketing director for a portfolio of brands at Hormel Foods, including Skippy peanut butter, Herb-OX bouillon, House of Tsang Asian goods and divisional innovation. Ms. Selk joined Hormel in 1998 as a food scientist in the research and development department. She also held management and leadership roles in the specialty products division and the meat products divisions, serving as both the divisional innovation manager as well as manager for the Hormel refrigerated entrees and Hormel Always Tender businesses.
